The New Milwaukee Consort has been graciously invited to perform works by Barbara Strozzi in the opening concert of Madison’s LunArt Festival, which celebrates women composers from past to present. Barbara Strozzi took 17th century Venice by storm with her playing, singing, and composing. Come hear Charlie Rasmussen on Baroque cello, Tim Sterner Miller on lute, while I sing a few of Barbara’s stories.
